Our view
Trimi’s current terms give unusually useful detail about the difference between payment frequency and commitment. Monthly and quarterly plans renew automatically; six-month and annual plans do not. The practical decision is how much flexibility to retain, not simply whether the annual equivalent looks lower.

A good fit if…
You want clearly stated term options and can choose the commitment length independently of the lowest monthly equivalent.
Consider another route if…
You need an annual advertised rate with monthly cancellation rights or expect a later promotion to reprice an existing commitment.
What stands out
- Standard monthly and prepaid term prices are published.
- Longer nonrenewing plans require a new check-in and confirmation to continue.
- The terms distinguish new-patient offers from existing agreements.
What to resolve
- Annual prices require substantial upfront commitments.
- Prescription issuance is an important refund boundary.
- The conditional six-month promise is not a guarantee of clinical benefit.
The cost and commitment together.
| Part of the bill | Published context | Question to settle |
|---|---|---|
| Semaglutide standard | $175 monthly /$1,188 annual upfront | Annual equivalent $99; different financial flexibility. |
| Tirzepatide standard | $235 monthly /$1,500 annual upfront | Annual equivalent $125; twelve-month commitment. |
| Quarterly plans | Prepaid, automatically renewing | Confirm the full three-month amount. |
| Six-month/annual plans | Prepaid, no automatic renewal | New check-in and confirmed purchase needed to continue. |
| Refund | Pre-prescription and stated exceptions | Read clinician-directed discontinuation and shipment rules separately. |
Choose the commitment before the discount
Trimi’s standard terms list monthly and longer prepaid options for compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. The annual semaglutide total is $1,188 and tirzepatide total $1,500. Dividing by twelve explains the advertised $99 and $125 equivalents; it does not turn those purchases into cancelable monthly charges.
The monthly standard options are $175 and $235 respectively. Compare the amount committed if you need to change arrangements, not merely the savings over an assumed uninterrupted year. A shorter plan may cost more per month while preserving more financial flexibility. Our care-cost planner helps display that tradeoff without predicting how long an individual should receive treatment.
Different terms have different endings
Monthly and quarterly plans renew automatically unless renewal is turned off. Six-month and annual plans do not automatically renew; continuing requires a provider check-in and a newly confirmed plan. That distinction changes the administrative task at the end of a term.
A nonrenewing plan still needs a clinical continuity conversation before it ends. Ask when to arrange the review and how pharmacy preparation fits the timeline. A recurring plan needs confirmation of the cancellation date instead. The calendar tool can organize administrative reminders, but the clinical team should set treatment and review timing. Do not use the financial calendar to improvise a medication change.
Keep new offers separate from existing agreements
The terms identify standard and sale enrollment routes and say existing patients keep the terms they accepted. A new lower price does not automatically reprice a purchased term or create a refund. This matters for a service whose public promotions may change while a long commitment is still running.
Before buying, save the exact plan and ask how a future switch is arranged. If installments are offered by a payment provider, confirm those separate obligations as well. Paying a large purchase in smaller pieces does not necessarily shorten the care-service commitment. Compare Brello for another prepaid model with a different renewal interval.
Explore Trimi Health care arrangementsThe refund promise has defined conditions
Trimi describes full refunds before prescription issuance or when the clinician finds a person ineligible. Later provisions include a conditional six-month weight-loss promise, review of unused-term refunds after written clinician-directed discontinuation and shipment-related remedies. These should be read separately, not combined into an unrestricted money-back claim.
Ask how to reach the care team during a term and what records are needed if the clinician changes the plan. Our plateau article helps frame a review without treating a commercial promise as a treatment target. Compare Lavender Sky Health and the provider guides if nonrecurring orders matter more than an annual discount. We have not tested Trimi’s clinical response or enrolled as patients.
The longer plans have different renewal behavior
Trimi’s standard published semaglutide examples range from $175 for a monthly purchase to $435 quarterly, $720 for six months and $1,188 annually. Those totals describe different commitments, not four interchangeable monthly prices. Its FAQ also distinguishes automatically renewing monthly and quarterly plans from longer plans that require a further check-in before a new purchase. That difference matters as much as the equivalent rate. Compare the selected medication and term as one agreement, and keep a reminder for the clinical review even where there is no automatic renewal to cancel.
